She needed a little help to get going but was then able to do the easy ones on her own. It is a game that will grow with her as the challenges continue to get more difficult as you progress through the book. So yes, I agree with the recommended age. She really enjoys this game. **Q: How many pieces are in the box?** A: 8 pieces + the 2 playing characters **Q: For those who have played both camelot jr and snow white, which do you recommend/prefer? deciding between the two for a child that is four and a half.** A: I can only talk about Camelot and my kid loved it. **Q: Is there a harder version of Day to Night?** A: This game is certainly more challenging than Day and Night. However it is a completely different play pattern.
