MegaChess Plastic 8 Inch Giant Chess Set

I love the MegaChess. Great size easy handle by young kid. Easy to clean it. Safe because not dangerous small parts. My family and friends enjoy.

I love the piece a lot and so do my students who get excited whenever I bring it into the club. They break very easily however so use caution with younger kids. I wasn't a fan of the plastic board at all which doesn't flatten out and gets wrinkled easily. I would prefer a fabric or canvas or something over this cheap plastic material. Edit: I bought this a couple years ago and it's still in regular use despite a couple pieces needing to be super glued a couple times. I'm really happy with it.

I re-floored our game room and tiled in a checkerboard in 4" x 4" squares. I bought these chess pieces and they are a perfect fit. They are obviously hollow, but have a pleasing heft. The included plastic foldable chessboard is not worth much, and went immediately into the trash.

It’s perfect for the chess club. Nice sturdy pieces. The only area that I would like to see improve is the chess board/mat. It needs to be larger and have better material in order to make it a better set. Otherwise, I’m satisfied with this purchase.

This chess game is bigger than I expected! But it’s awesome! It’s portable with its carry box. The large pieces are easy to hold and move while teaching the game. It’s just all around cool! Prefect for outside.

The chess pieces should of been weighted, also, the chess board quality is sub par at best. I ordered and seperate chess board through an independent source.
