REVIEW of BEMIS 7750TDG open front toilet seat with cover. I was able to find open front toilet seat WITHOUT cover, but for home use, you really need to have one with a cover or else things get accidentally dropped into the toilet. The BEMIS 7750TDG is more expensive than most toilet seats, but it is worth it if you want an open front one with a cover. It is "commercial" grade so it seems very durable. I have no issues with closing the lid down. If you are a guy or have a household with guys, the open front toilet seat is more sanitary, easier to keep clean, and easier for guys to sit on and comfortably position their “junk”. If you have problems emptying out your bladder, a urologist recommended sitting down on the toilet when urinating. With an open front toilet seat, sitting down to urinate because easier. The installation of the BEMIS is very easy. Written instructions are provided, but watching the BEMIS installation video is all that you need to know.

The toilet seat was very easy to install for my 90 year young Dad. For a larger weight person that is handicapped and has to use extra implements in the restroom, this Bemis 7750TDG 000 commercial toilet seat open front is the perfect solution. With the open front, it has given me more of my dignity back. The seat is made of quality heavy duty plastic and the posts are made of stainless steel and won't break easily. The toilet seat doesn't loosen or move while I'm getting up. The lid doesn't fall down fast, giving me plenty of time to remove my hand. The toilet seat is very easy to clean. I do recommend this open front toilet seat.

This toilet seat is great. We’ve tried many and this one has been the strongest one we’ve had. The others always came loose. Would highly recommend.

This seat has the same weight and girth as a wooden seat. It is heavier than what you'll find in a big box. I got rid of a Brondell Bidet seat (YUCK!) and replaced it with this. Installation was a breeze. It will last a long time. It seems impervious to stains. It is solidly attached to the toilet--it will not move. The seat itself has a little side-to side give inside the lid--a couple mm. NOTE: THIS IS NOT A SOFT CLOSE SEAT. So what. The trade-off of having a more durable and substantial seat was worth it to me. I also like that the seat has the gap in the front. That's nice for us guys.

This seat is easy to install, doesn't move around and is of solid construction. It has a nice gloss finish on the seat and is conformable to use. Wish it was a slow close but is the most heavy duty I have found. Nice seat!

Sturdy, simple installation.

One of the downfalls of elongated bowls is that the seat has a tendency to move side to side after a few miles have been put on it. After much research, I purchased the Bemis 7850TDG based on videos produced by the company and posted on Amazon. It seems a bit over the top to say the seat is comfortable, after all, it's not like you are going to spend long periods of time on it, BUT, it is well engineered for the purpose. What I enjoyed the most from this seat was the ease of installation and seeing how it was installed, it is the best fitting seat for the toilet. No loose fittings inside the hinge clamp, and a unique fitting that ensures it will stay locked and not twist. The manufacturer says it is a commercial product, and I believe it. Very well made with an eye to maintenance. It is worth the five stars I gave it!
