Review: This is the best medical tape ever. - This was recommended by my surgeon for holding a Telfa pad in place over a surgical wound on a toe. I've changed it twice a day for the last week which has given me a good chance to how well it works. I've used lots of different kinds of tape over the years, but this beats them all. It's flexible enough to conform with a curved surface although it has very little stretch. The adhesive sticks very well but comes off easily and cleanly, and the stripper tape is easy to remove. Rubbing on socks and sheets doesn't lift corners. No blood leaks through. There's just nothing not to like about it.

Plus a synergistic allergy effect from food allergies to dairy, eggs, etc. Those allergies express themselves in skin rashes and nasal congestion. Now, in my dotage years, I have a stomach G tube needed for drugs, etc. Since there is stomach leakage, I need to dress the opening several times a day. I am allergic to most adhesives used in many of the so-called "hypoallergenic"tapes. I stumbled onto Hypafix brand tape on desertcart. It works great for me. If you have sensitive skin that turns into rashes when you use most other brands of tape, give this one a try. You very well could be pleasantly surprised. Great product!

**Q: Does this tape breathe?  I'm ideally looking for something that does not.**
A: It’s more cloth-like. It’s is not 100% occlusive but it is quite strong. Great for reinforcing gauze dressings or “framing” a dressing (I’m a nurse). I also use it to tape over tags on my shirts! It will survive a washing or too. (I hate tags and this prevents me from ripping my shirts)

**Q: is this tape latex free? I am allergic to adhesives and latex. thank you.**
A: I used for 3 weeks without any issues and I am allergic to latex!  
I cannot use any bandaid (no matter what brand)  without getting a bubble like itchy rash on my skin!
THIS DID NOT Happen after using Hypafix tape on my surgical wound.    I recommend 100 % ..you will  not be dissatisfied.

**Q: Is anyone using this tape over insulin pump cgm for the purpose of extending the life of the cgm?**
A: Yes, works beautifully. Holds for about 7 days through showers, then i trim peeling up edges and put another piece over all. Then at end of 14 days, pull all of. This is the Libre Freestyle 14 day CGM.

**Q: Is this the type of tape to use underneath kinesiology tape like KT Tape?**
A: I would not think so

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Non reactive Hypafix Dressing Retention

I am highly allergic to the adhesives on bandages. Irritation becomes a rash, then open sores, followed by hard stabbing. HYPAFIX DRESSING RETENSION eliminates all of that irritation. My dermatogist's PA told me to order it from Amazon because no store in my areaa carried it. I like that I can cut the exact size I need to cover whatever I am using to cover the wound or surgical site and hold it in place. If you have issues with normal bandaid, including those that say they are for those with allergies to bandaise
