Will the car seat base fit in bag as well? I am checking the stroller and need the base for traveling as well.

I don't believe the base would fit in the bag, but you do not need the base to travel with the doona. I recommend leaving it at home. That's the beauty of the doona. You can use it without the base with just a seat belt while traveling.
