A: It’s about 3/4” thick and VERY well made. The quality along with the bees wax coating is great in that no painting is necessary - at least for now!

A: Yes, you can add the suitable size deep or super bee boxes to this hive. Our hives are coated with beeswax and are very easy to assemble. The 10-frame beehive is great beekeeping supplies.

A: The beehives are made in China. Our beehives have pre-cut dovetails and pre-drilled holes, which makes assembly very easy. Our hives are beeswax coated, and the hive kitis very complete, including 2 deep bee boxes, 1 super box, frame and foundation, which is suitable for beekeeping beginner.

**Q: I live in Tennessee is this a good hive for are climate?**
A: Yes. I live in MA and have extreme temps from sub-freezing to 90+ and my bees are doing well. I love this hive and highly recommend it. My bees were out and about today. I have the hive wrapped for the winter but they did well and are going strong.

I ordered this hive to get ready to split my other two hives. The quality is amazing, tight joints with no excessive wax. Went together easy with no need to hit with hammer. My other two hoover hives had so much wax in joints i had to cut it away snd hammer them in so hard. Will definitely but bee castle again!!!!

Fantastic product. We originally purchased one that was more expensive, but came to us with the wood worked and split. It was horrible. We bought the BeeCastle beehive, and the workmanship is fantastic It was rated #1 on Amazon. We should’ve bought this one to begin with. It’s well made and easy to put together. The difference is night and day. If you want a well made product then the BeeCastle is the one. Also, their customer service was awesome. We had one small minor issue, but they took care of us. You will not regret purchasing this item.
