Gives great insights on the various design patterns that are there to create scalable systems.

This is the best book for Design Patterns which I received today. I have gone through some of the books but those books didn't make me understand properly but this book has each and every topics and with the great explanation with the help of real life things. This book is a cherry on the cake for those who want to understand design patterns in an easy way.

Everything is easy to understand, but there is one flaw: not all major patterns are covered, such as the builder pattern, etc.

Book is indeed quite helpful and interesting to read however the packaging could have been better.

So far, I have skimmed through half of the book. Each pattern is explained with real world examples and it is quite interactive as well. A 10 year old with basic java would be able to understand and this book has been designed in such a way.

The way the book narrates all the concepts through stories with various elements that keep you engaging through is out of the world......The book speaks to you as if it was your friend teaching you.......The most important thing in every pattern is.......they doesn't jump straight into the pattern.....they just go through the problem of building a system, explaining the struggles and roadblocks that we face, and will use the pattern to solve that proble.....m

Very good book. Easy to understand if one knows OOPs

I have been trying to learn design patterns for ages. I managed to learn a few but because of not using it at work regularly i would forget it. This book looks very promising. It is engaging and has real time examples that would help you remember.
