Easy to install, with no need to unwire Single surrounds will fit standard sockets 86x86mm (hole size 75mm) Double surrounds will fit standard sockets 146x86mm Please To fit, remove the 2 screws from the fitting and slide the surround diagonally over the switch or socket. Make sure everything is straight and refit the 2 screws. Note: Socket not included. Please Note: Please Remove Protecting Film Off Before Use! For further information please leave message.

**Q: What are the dimensions of the surround?**
A: Single - 136x136mm Double - 198x136mm

**Q: Does this need to clip onto the back box, or does the faceplate itself sandwich this in place between it and the wall?**
A: There is s distinct design fault whereby it is only the pressure exerted by the faceplate that keeps this in place.  Looks stylish until you actually try to use - avoid item and look at something different.
Video on Amazon website suggests that there is a lip which accepts faceplate. Such lip is non existent

**Q: What is the thickness?**
A: 2gang 13amp socket will fit into a 25mm galvanise back box,and pertrube approximately 10 mm when fix. Hope this helps

**Q: How can you fit them without unwiring the socket? (As advertisd)**
A: Yes I did. Unscrew the socket plates from the wall with the wires still intact then slide the surround over the socket plate at an angle,it can be tricky but with patience and perseverance it will go over it. Once it’s over hold the surround against the wall. Offer up the socket plate and screws back to original position then screw in place. Hope this helps.
