(vet says it's fungal, but it looks like coffee-grounds, which is c/w earmites)** A: No, this is nothing but over price nonsense you will be better off trying looking for something else and what she has sound like one of my cats and what she has is fungal, the vet is right it is not ear mites, the fungal discharge is similar to it but you need to find out what is causing the fungal infection first. **Q: Is this comparable to mometamax?** A: My dog had chronic ear infections. The Zymox helped as a preventative, but when she got the infections the prescription mometamax was the only thing that clear things up. **Q: how does all the excess solution get out of a cat's ear,they don't shake like a dog would?** A: Where on earth did get that info?
