TECHEF - Frittata and Omelette Pan, Double Sided Folding Egg Pan, Made in Korea (PFOA Free) (Purple)

The TECHEF Italian Frittata/Double Omelette Pan meets my needs to make great omelette’s. It is non-stick. It cleans up easily. I love that it is PFOA free, lead free and cadmium free. It is well priced, too. It came with a Teflon pad for the handle to make it easy to open. It seems to be well made and durable. I love it.

I’ve really enjoyed using this TECHEF Frittata and Omelets Pan. The nonstick surface works beautifully—my omelets came out light, fluffy, and slid right out of the pan without any fuss. It’s also held up well in the dishwasher, which is a big plus for convenience. For the price, it’s a great value. The quality feels solid, and it performs like a much more expensive pan. My only minor complaint is that the pan needs to be closed quickly to seal properly, which creates a loud slamming noise. It startled my husband the first time I used it! Overall, I’d definitely recommend it for anyone who loves making omelets or frittatas at home. Just be mindful of the closing mechanism.

I’ve gone through about eight inexpensive HomeGoods pans over the past 2–3 years, using them exclusively to cook egg whites (I have an egg yolk allergy). Finding a pan where egg whites don’t stick has been surprisingly difficult—likely because there’s little to no fat involved. I’ve tried multiple pans along with different oils and sprays, and nothing worked consistently—until this one. This pan is outstanding. The egg whites didn’t stick at all, not even slightly, and cleanup was effortless (see photo of pan after cooking/before washing)—the surface wiped clean instantly. It’s absolutely worth spending a bit more compared to a discount store option. In the long run, it saves both time and money. I only wish I had bought it sooner.

My wife and I are not omelet/frittata experts, just middle-aged non-professional cooks handling the everyday cooking needs of two adults. Given the offer, we tried the TECHEF Free Frittata and Omelette Pan and are giving an honest review. We did a 6 egg frittata. Pros: - Sturdy construction and nice coloring. - The Teflon coating worked as expected. - The resulting omelet was satisfactory. Cons: - There were no instructions for novices like us who haven’t used any pan like this before. A brief video on the Amazon sales page demonstrating the basics would have been a big help. - The food stuck to the rivet heads inside the pan. - The small u-shaped handle is uninsulated and could be burn hazard. - When the folding lid was closed after what appeared to be a proper cooking period, uncooked egg leaked out onto the stove top. - We have a glass top stove, and the movement on the stove top removed some of the pan’s covering at medium heat. It was never at full heat. This may not be a problem on gas stoves or electric coils, but can’t say for sure. Overall, we don’t care for it and it seemed to be more hassle than it’s worth, even for free. Perhaps we just need a decent demonstration video to get it right.

I have bought a couple of these over the years but this is way better in terms of quality. 1) Really good non-stick 2) Comes with a heatproof plastic holder for the flip handle 3) Comes assembled. Love it! Worth the extra money for such quality
