The first one is on my 6 gallon nano tank and has been going strong since 2020. This light is on my rimless 20 long that I set up a year ago; it's a low tech, highly-planted and highly stocked tank. It's been fantastic. Very easy to set up and I appreciate that manually adjusting the lights doesn't reset the timer - so it is easy for me to turn the lights off early and then they still come on at the prescribed time the next day. The light level has supported dwarf hairgrass, hydrocotyle tripartita, japanese cress, anubias nana petite, and pearlweed with no problems. I have mini green neon tetras, lambchop rasboras, two otocinclus catfish, and a plakat betta in the tank, along with a variety of pond snails. I have one large one for saltwater corals and easy to program. This one using top fin octagon. I replaced it one it came with. Love the brightness is strong. I was never a fan of this light from the start. It would work normally for a while then even with resetting the timer, it started going on and off at random times. I’ve decided to purchase a light from a different brand that I have for all my other tanks that’s actually cheaper and much more reliable!Edit to add: after writing my review, the company reached out to me. They requested a video showing what was going wrong and unfortunately I had already thrown the light out. They kindly refunded me for my purchase.
