Very low smell. Seems to be of high quality as well. I use castor oil before putting it on painful areas. I work a very physical job with lots of aches and pains! Works well to help leg and knee pain. I have to be careful on my arms as some skin is much more sensitive than others. Feels like a sunburn. Takes the pain down to almost nothing. I am new to DMSO and am finding new uses too. Great value as it takes very little to be effective. Roller distributes well.

We’ve done our homework on DMSO and others should too. This is nearly 100% strength so on sensitive areas of the body it may sting and leave the skin red but temporarily unless you’re allergic. If DMSO is diluted for these areas it should be with distilled or reverse osmosis water to avoid transmitting impurities, never put it in TUPPERWARE, only glass, or use it over any body product or use any unnatural vehicle to apply it. Pure cotton, or natural fiber brush. It is very effective! The roll on is very convenient but hard to dilute. It goes on rather thick so go easy or it will take a while to dry. Apply to skin and do not touch your skin to anything but air until it’s dries in the air. Any low ratings are due to ignorance. The Midwestern Doctor on Substack has written tomes on this topic. It’s worth subscribing to it to use this product effectively and wisely.

Very good on swelling and bruising.

Nothing was working on my shoulder pain, but this does, pain is gone, however, it is a bit rough on the skin. Repeated application has caused some irritation and slight burning, still way better than the original pain. All said be careful on applying to sensitive areas or over applying.

I’ve been dealing with hip pain for two months now. Using OTC medication to deal with the pain. Not one to take meds unless I’m really in bad pain, so have only taken meds once a week, but in my book that’s still too much. Through much research on trying to find out what exactly was going on with my hips, I discovered that it’s the trochanteric bursa and NOT arthritis, that’s becoming inflamed! Good! Well, kind-a. My job requires that I sit at a computer for 8 long hours a day. Been doing this for MANY years and I guess that hasn’t been good for my hips even though I use a cushion on my chair. This pain came out of no where and it makes me walk like a penguin every time I’d get up from my seat. I walk on a treadmill at least four times a week so it’s not like I’m just sedentary. I was determined to get to the bottom of how to get rid of it. Icing would help but it was short lived. Massage helped but again, short lived. I kept digging for an answer and found that this product can actually penetrate down to the bursa to relieve the inflammation. I thought, please let this be the answer. I received it today and immediately put it on (I bought the roll on) and I kid you not; THE PAIN IS GONE!! Within minutes of putting it on, the pain is gone. Don’t know how long I’ll be pain free, but now I can get rid of it. It did kind of itch in the same spot on both hips and has a slight smell that dissipated as it dried but, THE PAIN GONE!! Looking forward to getting back to running on my treadmill. For the price, I’m glad I took this chance. I hope it works for you too.

Wife used it for her hand, but she had a reaction to the ingredients. That’s why I only gave it 1 star. Never determined whether it works. Someone else who suggested this product used it and raved about it. It solved her problem to her satisfaction. I’m sure she would have given it a 5.

First of all I am a professional dancer so we always have some kind of pain and I've found....NOTHING......as great as DMSO...LOVE THE ROLL ON MORE THAN THE OTHERS TOO! My experience is that it does itch and a bit of burning but I can get through that......I've even put it on....up near my ear lobe and down the neck and actually would like to try it near the side of my nose on my face but haven't did that one yet! "NOTHING" works better for me with pain than DMSO....I put it pretty much almost everywhere!!!!!! As my one Russian Ballet teacher said to me one time.....If your a professional dancer....Ballet or other dance forms ect...ect and you wake up with no pain...."MEANS YOUR DEAD" LAUGH!!!!!!! AND I AM 78 YRS YOUNG AND AM A Flamenco dancer too and STILL DANCING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought this product under the advice of my chiropractor and Holistic practitioner. I was amazed at the results. Pain that I have been dealing with for years disappeared within a month. However, I did not do my research into the cons of using this product. After using it for about a month, I wound up getting sick yet I continued to use it. Why not, right? Then, I noticed my heart rate would spike up to over 100 bpm. I chalked it up to being sick but after I got better I noticed this spike of heart rate would happen within 30 minutes of putting on the DMSO. So at the advice of my gym owner, I discontinued using it. She uses it for horses and advised me that it can cause tachycardia. I can tell you that once I stopped using it the tachycardia stopped. So just something to be aware of.... it's rare, but I did my research and it can happen when using DMSO. Even topically. Sadly, it is a side effect and I'm very disappointed because I love this product. I'm sure I'm one of the rare cases, but just be aware that it can happen.
