Ram Golf FX 460cc Pure Titanium Driver Right Hand with Graphite Shaft, Including Headcover

I was looking for a new driver because I was using an old Taylormade R15. I never used any of the adjustments on the R15 and didn't want to spend money on another driver with features I don't use. So, I bought the Ram FX driver. This driver feels great while standing at address over the ball and performs just as well as my old R15 in distance and accuracy. If you want a new driver, but don't want to pay a lot of money for all the cool features of a name brand driver, consider the Ram FX driver. It works really well.

Excellent driver for the price. I had been using an old TaylorMade R580 driver and was struggling a lot with it. After talking with a few golfers, I realized it probably wasn’t the best club for a beginner. It’s a very old driver with a smaller head and lower loft, so it just wasn’t very forgiving. I was recommended to look for something with a 460cc head and at least 10.5° of loft. I ended up buying this one in 12°, and for me it’s been a complete game changer compared to what I was using before. Is it a premium driver? No. But for the price, it’s fantastic. I’m finally hitting playable drives and actually enjoying using my driver instead of dreading it. That alone makes it worth it. Maybe someday I’ll upgrade to a newer TaylorMade or something more high-end, but for now this club has given me confidence off the tee and I’m proud to have it in the bag.

Great driver

This driver might require a bit to get the feel of it. It has a metallic ring when you hit the ball, like an aluminum bat in baseball. But it is nicely balanced. I can drive a little bit further with it compared to my previous driver.

The only thing I was not crazy about was the standard grip that came on the club. I re-gripped the club with a TakiMac Jumbo Pro and I can drive very well with this club.

Bought this as happy with my Ram set but driver was 13 degree and wanted more loft and speed this 9 degree with titanium shaft does the job a treat I love it

There are so many of these drivers on Amazon to choose from with prices ranging from around £50 to £2000. I’m sure there’s obviously a big difference in the quality of the actual club is someway. I also know, that purchasing a £2000 club won’t simply and solely make an amateur a better golfer, it takes more than that. I’m not a professional golfer, I play twice a week but this club seems to me, after playing just 3 games with it, an excellent club and I’m really pleased with it. I’ve got no complaints about the club in anyway at all.

Very forgiving, well made but distance is difficult to achieve. A good first driver for a beginner.
