Buyer be ware! **Q: There is a very different opinion regarding whether or not this watch has a countdown timer. can we get an official answer to this question please?** A: I have this watch, it does not. Funny thing is I mainly bought it because I thought it had one. It has a stop watch and multiple alarms (which can function as a timer). However, it does not have a countdown timer. **Q: Is this the chromed silver version, or the matte silver-tone version? I know it says Silver in the description, but several comments says otherwise.** A: Comments are correct. It is NOT the chromed silver version. Unfortunately it is the matte finished resin version. I think it is the best looking Casio calculator watch on offer right now for a very reasonable price. The calculator keypad buttons are smaller than one would expect but they're not too difficult to operate due to good design. The backlight is good and the alarm is loud. The bracelet is thin but sturdy. I found it easy to adjust using a small screwdriver.
