Review: Good Customer Service - Good cut, it cooked up wonderfully. The brisket weighed just over 11lbs, including the bag and juices. I messaged and the seller promptly responded and made it right. Im satisfied, but would definitely weigh your briskets when you receive them.
Review: Too Fatty For My Taste - I preface this review with "I have never smoked a brisket before". Now with that said I was very disappointed with the amount of fat intertwined throughout the brisket and just the amount of fat in general. Like I said this was my first brisket so I researched and watched several videos on how to prepare and trim the fat for smoking. I have smoked several other meats so I'm not a complete rookie.I completely realize this might be very typical with all briskets but it will be my last. For what it's worth the quarter, 3-4 pounds that I did keep does taste real good.
