Peace of Mind Planner

We are getting all our affairs in order. And I bought a book for my husband and I. And started filling it out. It has a lot of helpful content in it, to help our loved ones when they r gonna need our information. It was easy to use. It has tabs for easy spaceful writing. The book is hard covered and very sturdy. I hope this review helps.

I love the quality and feel of Peter Pauper Press products. This is no different. Well organized, thoughtful categories. There are sections I don't need (I don't have a business, house, or kids) because they're simply not relevant to me, but I think it's good that it's comprehensive. It helps you think of what kind of information you should gather, and keeps you from forgetting things. The print is kind of large, which feels like a waste of space to me. But, I am in my 20's and I realize the main demographic that buys this product is probably 3 times my age. So even though I don't personally like that about it, I realize it is a thoughtful feature. It has tabs (that do not sick out today the page) at the beginning of each section. It starts over at the top halfway through, so when opening the book you can only see the labels for half the sections. Of course to make them all visible, the first half pages would have to be smaller and lose space. Not a huge inconvenience, just being thorough. Overall, I would recommend this product. I can't really make full use of it at this point in my life, but it is very useful for helping me think of what kind of things to get organized. My husband and I have nothing had some family members pass and their affairs were a mess. It's a big stress on the surviving family members in an already difficult time. I also work in insurance and see people all the time who have no idea about their family member's policies. Those things have made me aware and even though it will hopefully not be necessary for several more decades, it does give me some peace of mind. Btw, it says to list who you've told about it. But because of my age I wish I hadn't done that and just made sure it would be easy to find.

I found the book very helpful, but not adequate for actually documenting info. I copied the pages that I needed, often in duplicates, recorded my information and put the pages in plastic sleeves in a ring binder, so that I can easily make changes as needed. I will keep the book so that I can make future copies of pages as needed. The book certainly helped me think through what I needed to document in order to inform anyone who would need to handle my affairs in my absence (mentally or physically). I give it a 4 for thoroughness

I was going to have a heart valve replacement. I knew it was a risky procedure. So for my piece of mind I ordered this planner to get my things organized. I had already left letters for my family members in case things did not go well. Then I got thinking, I pay all the bills in my household mostly by computer and no one knew my password. So they would not be able to get into my account to pay bills or to cancel magazine subscriptions . This planner has everything, things that I would have not thought of such as you live along with a pet. What would happen if you were gone, you would need a directive concerning your pet instead of it going to a shelter. Someone you know that would love it as much as you because they would be confused why you were not there. It has wishes for your funeral service, place to write your obituary. Let your loved ones know where your life insurance policy is filed. Has tabs such as, Personal, Medical,key contacts, Important Documents, Business,Financial,What to pay,close,cancel and many more. It has definetly given me peace of mind and showed me things I still needed to do. This book should be kept in a safe place and only let certain family members that you trust to know where it is. This is because it has a tab for all your bank information including account numbers, a page to list all your credit cards their numbers and whom they are with. So you would not want this to fall into the wrong hands. This planner will be helpful for those you leave behind. To ease their burden a little bit. I encourage you to purchase this planner. I am so grateful I did.

Someone recommended this book. I got it for my husband because we are getting older and I don't want our children scrambling to figure things out like we did with our own parents. It is very thorough document. Now I need to get another for myself,

I am so impressed with the layout of this book. Very well thought out, and an extremely valuable tool. It gives me peace of mind that my important information is neatly organized in one place. Not only for my family, but for me too. This book addresses things that I had never thought of. Information that my family may need, not only after I’m gone, but now as well. My medical history, location of documents, friends and contacts, accounts, passwords, last wishes, family history, SO much! (Zoom in on my picture to see how much.) And, I can easily put it in a secure place, because it’s not just a stack of loose paperwork. In my opinion, every household should have this book.

Everyone should have one of these. It will save loved ones many headaches when the time comes. And you don't know when that will be.

The book is larger than expected. I can’t use.

Peace of Mind Planner ~ this book is so helpful, and will be once we are unable to help ourselves or pass away as our family lives elsewhere so they will be able to find everything they need. Great idea and have passed this on to lots of friends.

I really love this planner (which followed ‘I’m Dead, Now What’) and buy them for my clients.
