Arsvita CD Laser Lens Cleaner Disc Cleaning Set for CD/VCD/DVD Player

We recently bought a 2013 Chevrolet Suburban for a 3rd run-around vehicle. The CD/DVD system was basically dead and had a hard time reading/recognizing any discs that were input...it played one CD very briefly & quit. I had little hope of this thing ever working. I did a Google search for possible fixes and the Arsvita CD Laser Lens Cleaner Disc popped up as a possible solution. Checked it out on Amazon and read the reviews and for the price, it was worth a try as I essentially had nothing to lose. Inserted the Arsvita disc and the player unit didn't initially like it...it tried to play the cleaner disc but would skip horribly....so, I ejected the disc, gently blew on the bristles to hopefully get rid of dust/dirt particles & retried and it started played/cleaning. As it moved through the additional tracks (6 total) it would sometimes experience a bit of the same issues in skipping. Each time, I ejected the disc, blew on the bristles and resumed it from the track that had issues. Finally, after all 6 tracks were successfully played, I tried a handful of random CDs & DVD and everything works just fine and dandy! I am impressed! I now need to run this cleaning disc through the CD player radios in our classic/collector cars as I know they have never been cleaned. As the cleaning disc does its thing, it plays different songs throughout the 6 tracks and runs about 20 minutes or so (add time if you need to restart like I did). Again, I am impressed with the results of the Arsvita CD Laser Lens Cleaner Disc. This is one recommendation that you can count on.

My car CD player was skipping and slurring sounds, so I decided to give this cleaning disc a try. The CD player works perfectly now! And the cleaning disc plays music while it’s doing its thing, which is kind of neat—I sat in my car for the 25 minutes it took to play the 6 tracks. Highly recommend this product!

Very easy to use this CD laser Lens Cleaner disc. And, it plays nice music while it is working. Worth it! Just what I needed.

Good product for the price, keeps dvd lens clean for movies

Our Onkyo CD player stopped reading any of our discs. I tried several that I had played recently, having cleaned each CD carefully - it just would not read any of the discs. Only said "reading . . . . . no disc". Any info available online indicated it would probably cost almost as much as a new CD player was worth to haul it in for repair. Oh, no! What to do?? Turns out that there are companies that make CDs (for "cleaning disc" in this instance) with tiny brushes on them that will clean the dirty lens on your CD player. The Arsvita CD (player) Cleaner Set (audio CDs only) came well recommended, at an inexpensive price, and arrived the next day. There is no cleaning fluid or need to do anything except to insert the cleaning disc exactly as you would any audio CD and wait for it clean your CD player. I inserted the Cleaner-CD. No dice. The machine stubbornly continued to say "reading . . . . no disc" and remained silent. But I could see that the cleaning disc had moved. Good sign! After a couple of more insertions, refusals and Arsvita CD twirls (I am quite patient), the machine suddenly said "00" and began playing some very pleasing piano music, suitable to all tastes. Hurrah! After about 25 minutes of a variety of musical selections and styles, the cleaning disc finally came to rest. I inserted a Ravel CD, and my delighted husband walked in the door just at the beginning of "The Alborada". Plus the sound quality seems better. So: the Arsvita looks and works just like every other CD, it's inexpensive so you don't lose much money if your CD player has bigger problems than a dirty lens, it perks up the sound quality, and it's supposed to be good for about 30 cleanings done every three months. Home run!

Works nicely to clean CD player in car. I thought it was a bit humorous that most of the songs that play on the cleaning CD are MIDI covers of classical songs but there is a version of 'God Is a Girl' by Groove Coverage randomly in the middle and then there are more classical songs. Great product.

So it worked, but the cd player ate one of the brushes 😭😭😭, I guess my car was hungry, maybe a defective disc but I don’t think it should’ve came off, I let it play for 30 minutes and the brush is gone

I had not used my hi end Oknyo CR-N755 in abt 7 years. It was in a dusty cabinet, so I guess the dust settled on the lazer lens on my receiver. After 7 years, each CD I placed in the CD player read "code 99". It would try to read the cd and kick out the code. After playing the ARSVITA lazer lens cd cleaner in the ONKYO, and playing the entire CD three times, (removing the Asrvita and blowing the dust off the brushes each time I played the CD end to end), I was able to play my CDs again. Yes, there is still some skipping, but the Onkyo always was a bit sensitive, even when new. Sone CDs don't read, but it's not the Arsvita's fault. So the Arsvita did it's job.

Good cleaner for DVD/Audio CD Players. Just insert it and it will play some songs and clean the head of the player. Easy to use. Comes with satin cloth for cleaning discs

I have an older dvd that's sound was distorted when I played it. I put this laser lense cleaner in and ran it as instructed. When it finished there was white powder like substance in the dvd player. I used the cloth that came with the cleaner to wipe it out. When I put the disk back in to play, the sound distortion was gone and it played beautifully! So glad I got this!! Highly recommend!!

Don't bye this product, it comes in a flimsy packing, the brush is stuck with fevicol, if I would have used the cd my cd player lens would have got damaged permanently
