Hard to find user directions so …. Forbo Cleaner Instructions APPLICATION RECOMMENDATIONS Forbo Neutral pH Cleaner should never be used undiluted. Remove all surface debris by dust mopping, sweeping or vacuuming. Dilute Forbo Neutral pH Cleaner at 1 – 2 oz. per gallon of unheated tap water. Apply the cleaning solution to the floor and allow 5 – 10 minutes of dwell time. Scrub the floor with either a 175 RPM floor machine or automatic scrubber using either a 3M Cleaning Pad #5100 or equivalent. For heavier soil loads or to remove adhesive residue, use a 3M Topline Pad #5000 or equivalent, but this pad is NOT to be used regularly in place of the 3M Cleaning Pad #5100. Additional dwell time may be necessary for heavily soiled floors. It is recommended to double scrub heavily soiled floors when using an automatic scrubber. Pick up the cleaning solution with a wet/dry vacuum or an automatic scrubber. Rinse the entire surface with a clean mop using clean, cool water. Pick up the rinse water with a wet/dry vacuum or an automatic scrubber. Allow the floor to dry completely before allowing traffic.

When combined with considerable elbow grease, this cleaner works well. Didn't realize how much grime had accumulated on the floor until I used this stuff.

I bought this because we just had Forbo vinyl sheet flooring installed and this was one of the cleaning products suggested by the manufacturer for regular cleaning. It did arrive with the seal broken like others mentioned. I was leery of using it on my brand new floors, but I emailed the seller and they assured me that they have been in contact with Forbo about the weak seals and that it is indeed authentic and fresh. So I went ahead and used it and have done so several times now. It cleans vinyl perfectly without leaving any residue at all. I use it on my Shaw vinyl in the kitchen, too, with good results. Make sure you rinse after using it. I use a "damp mop" which I also bought on Amazon and I love it.

I had neglected to put any finish on my new Marmoleum kitchen floor for 5 years. Recently thoroughly cleaned it and put 2 coats of this product and holy cow. The floor didn’t look this good on day one. It’s been 6 months and still looks great. Oh yeah, I have a dog.

I used this cleaner explicitly following Forbo’s instructions for a deep clean on a small bathroom floor that has had little traffic and no wax applied over the years. Mixing the solution according to directions, applying and keeping wet for a full 10 minutes, then scrubbing with a white kitchen scrubby didn’t make a dirty paste aa was described and, in fact, didn’t seem to make much difference. To clean the darkened areas in the light colored marmoleum, a no-scratch cleanser had to be used. I’m very disappointed in the product and that I wasted about $40 and my time using it. I am planning on using Forbo sealer since I have already purchased it and hope it works better than their cleaner.

The last time I ordered this, I got a spray bottle and the contents were not the concentrate I was expecting, but much diluted. The directions are to spray directly on floor, then wet mop. It works OK, but uses so much more product that it is much more expensive. I'd rather get the concentrate, but I don't know how to tell which it is from the Amazon description. Not 100% satisfied.
