mwolf, it looks like a simple "supply and demand" scenario. yeti is sold out of 30oz lid/straw combos; so the price has crept higher. the 20oz is in stock at yeti, and the price is only $1 higher on amazon. remember that amazon takes a fee, too. for the most part, it seems like amazon pricing works out pretty fairly.
