Review: Best In Class Convertable top protection - I have used the ragtop cleaner and protector for years. I have tried other products but none last as long or apply as easily. I suggest cleaning on one day and applying on another if you can bc the fabric needs to be totally dry in order for get the maximum protection. I lint roll the top prior to protecting it. I do 3 coats and use almost the whole can on the top. First coat on, then with a gloved hand wipe front to back. Second coat on 20 minutes later. Wipe side to side with gloved hand. Third coat 20 min later and this is the heaviest coat, basically use balance of can and let it air dry without touching it. Works very well for the entire season, sometimes 2 seasons depending on use. Besides water protection, it gives UV protection to the top. My black top is 11 years old and still looks new Review: Satisfied - Worked for me ## Features - Item Category: Auto Accessory - Item Trademark: Raggtopp - manufacturer: Raggtopp ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0017TTPE0 | | Best Sellers Rank | #122,864 in Automotive ( See Top 100 in Automotive ) #154 in Interior Car Upholstery Care | | Brand | Raggtopp | | Brand Name | Raggtopp | | Contains Liquid Contents? | No | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 820 Reviews | | Item Volume | 500 Milliliters | | Item volume | 500 Milliliters | | Material Features | Clean | | Material features | Clean | | Model Number | 6250625 | | Part Number | 1165_A | | Scent | Unscented | | Surface Recommendation | Fabric | | Surface recommendation | Fabric | | UPC | 844998182405 | | Unit Count | 1.0 Count | | Unit count | 1.0 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Raggtopp - **Item volume:** 500 Milliliters - **Material features:** Clean - **Scent:** Unscented - **Unit count:** 1.0 Count ## Images ![Raggtopp Fabric Cleaner and Protectant Kit - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61h6xmaKz7L.jpg) ![Raggtopp Fabric Cleaner and Protectant Kit - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/614DgpwmGyL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: is this also a weatherproof?** A: Water will bead after the protectrant is applied. As with any convertable top the canvass will get wet but it beads up at first and last a couple months. The cleaner work good but doesn't completely remove mldew stains. Go to your manufactors web site for deeper cleaning instruction then follow up with Ragtopp. Hartz canvess recommends: For more stubborn cases, mix a solution of no more than 1/2 cup (4 oz or 120 ml) standard household bleach (3-8% Sodium Hypochlorite solution; Clorox/Dan Klorix brand or similar) and 1/4 cup (2 oz. or 60 ml) RAGGTOPP Cleaner per gallon (3.8 liter) of water. Let the solution soak into the roof material for approximately 20 minutes and scrub lightly as indicated above (excessive soaking with the bleach solution can deteriorate seam threads). Rinse thoroughly to prevent streaking on painted and chrome surfaces. Additional cleanings may be necessary. **Q: is the cleaner necessary?** A: I have been using the cleaner and protective spray for the two years I've owned my new car. The car is kept out side year round in all weather. It is specially subject to bird droppings. The dealership can't believe the car is not garaged. My car is washed weekly and the detailers say the cleaner is the best they have ever used on convertible tops new or old. **Q: I have a volvo that has a navy blue ragg top. Will this product work for that color, or is it only for black ragg tops?** A: Yes. This product can be used on any color top and is recommended by the manufacturer of the fabric on your Volvo. **Q: Do it work on black tonneau tops it is fabric** A: Yes it will also work great on fabric tonneau covers ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best In Class Convertable top protection *by J***F on 24 September 2024* I have used the ragtop cleaner and protector for years.
