What I can tell you is that I wear a 7 1/2 fitted baseball hat and the L Puma hat fits me. It’s made by Flexfit and there’s still a little more room to stretch. That would agree with the size chart I found - L/XL 7 1/4" to 7 3/4". I haven’t worn it golfing yet so I can’t tell you how it feels after wearing it for 5 hours but I do have a L/XL Flexfit baseball hat and it’s one of my more comfortable hats. **Q: S/M:How big is the head circumference?** A: I normally wear a hat size of 7 1/8 and this hat fits great. Also it is a "Flexfit" hat which gives pretty good flexibility. **Q: What color is quarry?** A: It’s a gray color- I didn’t get it though. **Q: can the cap cover your ears for sun protection** A: No, it does not cover your ears.
