**Q: How thick is this pizza stone**
A: Roughly 3/4 inch thick.....that's my estimate. very hefty.

**Q: Is this for the Kamado Joe Classic 2?  I want to make sure this is the correct one before I order. Thank you.**
A: Understand. I had similar question before I bought. I suggest you do as I did. Obtain the stone specifications (length/width) and compare to your grill. It should fit on top of the grill with at least an inch , preferably 2 or 3, around the stone  for proper air flow. They change model names and numbers so often that I gave up trying to compare. I just measure and decide. I hope this helps.

A: I have the 16" stone. They make a 20" for the Big Joe grill. I use it over the smoker stone to avoid burning pizza.
