Look at the cover and examine what type of elastic is used on the cover. I would think that the elastic is 1/2 inch thick. Definitely not this thickness. What type of material is the cover made out of will determine how you can attach the elastic? So you would have to figure out weather you can sew it in place or glue, etc. If you have a creative mind you figure out away to make it work but not with this size. A couple of big safety pins hidden inside to hold it around the end legs and PERFECTION! They bounce right off! I don't write reviews. EVER. But this is an amazing solution to an annoying and potentially destructive problem. We have this on every piece of furniture, inside and outside, that a tennis ball or toy can get stuck under. The only possible con is that Roomba also bounces off and doesn't go under the couch anymore. But depending on your situation, that can be a pro or a con.
