I couldn't find anything that really worked so I decided that I needed to research the causes for dandruff and solutions. After doing some research, it seemed to me that my dandruff and itchy scalp was being caused due to stress, dry skin, scratching, using unnatural products on my hair, and sleeping on my damp hair and scalp. I found tea tree (among other things) helped with dandruff and it was a natural ingredient, thus, I researched on Amazon and found this product. I've used this product three times over the past week and I've noticed a difference! I have less flakes (by half) and my scalp feels less itchy and irritated. There are still parts of my scalp that feel itchy and when I scratch, there are still flakes, but overall, my scalp feels better and healthier. It also smells better (fresher). I think the remaining flakes are caused due to dry skin and stress, which causes me to scratch and pick at my scalp. Thus, I hope to try a product from Maple Holistics that better moisturizes my scalp and stop scratching. PS. I found the conditioner has more of the tingling sensation on my scalp, which feels nice. The scent is not strong, just enough. The bottles are bigger than I thought!
