## Description

Pioneer Corporation commonly referred to as Pioneer, is a Japanese multinational corporation based in Tokyo, Japan, that specializes in digital entertainment products. The company was founded by Nozomu Matsumoto in 1938 in Tokyo as a radio and speaker repair shop, and its current president is Susumu Kotani. I only wish the amp came with a remote gain switch and installation hardware , you know the gold plated stuff. Price was very affordable. I also bought the 520 watt 4 channel amp and they work great as a team. I just wish pioneer would sponsor me or send me samples to tty and rate.
Review: Great budget amplifier! - This amp delivers! I’m driving one enclosed 4 ohm 8-inch bass speaker and a 2” soft-dome tweeter per each channel capable of handling 175 watts each. This amp delivers 160 watts per channel so it can’t blow my speakers. With the gain set slightly above normal, it has the ability to “rattle” the windows. I love loud rock music and this match delivers for me. I’m an old time rocker from the late 60s-early 70s. Gives me that concert sound, next best thing to being there. That said, it does get pretty hot even though my power and ground wiring is 8 gauge pure copper stranded and I mounted it so it has air flow all around and under and over it. I’ll monitor it and see how it holds up. No problems so far and it hasn’t shut off in protection mode.

A: Al menos así la uso yo! Le puedes conectar voces, pero entiendo q se calentará demasiado.

**Q: Will this amp work for 2 6x9 they are 500 watt max?**
A: I have mine hooked up to 2 skar 6.5s(300w ea) in front Doors & two crunch 6x9s(400w ea) in Rear Dash..I Barely have the gain up, Bass Boost off & I have to turn Bass Down on my OEM Delco stereo so the Bass Doesn't overpower the mids & highs. I actually feel like this amp is too much for my skars & crunches, maybe it's the music I Play...

**Q: Can you use a universal bass knob on the amplifier?**
A: Yes. Have one in mine. Makes it nice to turn down the bass when the kids are in the car.

**Q: what is the maximum power in rms?**
A: I'm not sure of the RMS power, but this is a very powerful amp.  You can tell by the fact that it has two 25-amp fuses.  I've found from long experience with amps that the surest way to assess the true power is from the fuse size.  Many amps in this class with have only one 25-amp fuse and will be wanting for true power.

Very good product, pioneer is still a very reliable and amazing amplifier maker. I only wish the amp came with a remote gain switch and installation hardware , you know the gold plated stuff.
