**Q: What color is the ink?**
A: They were black ink...we used them in one of the prisons....

**Q: Can you take them apart?**
A: The larger heavier piece of rubber on the tip can be removed which leaves only the flexible ink tube with writing tip. They actually have been remodeled by Shomer-Tec, the image shown is old. There is no extra rubber tip at the top now, only the pen base which you hold when you write. Still very flexible and a great "safer" alternative to a rigid writing instrument.

**Q: I need a sds for ink that is in pen?**
A: I don't do acronyms. What is an sds? I manage an acute behavioral health unit. We utilize these pens to reduce self-harm behaviors and prevent injuries to others. The ink is black. No complaints from patients or staff.
