Do the practice exercises in this book, they do a great job of reinforcing the material. And bonus, there are answers to the even numbered questions with very good reasoning.

I grabbed this book as a last-minute substitute for a course and never looked back. It's been a great course book. Lots of working examples is the best feature. The weakness is that it isn't available in book form in my country. Kindle works fine though.
