Can the door on this pen be removed? I would like to connect the pen to a rabbit cage for him to have additional space to exercise.

That was a darn good question! I checked it out for you and found that there is a spacer clip at the bottom hinge that removes easily, allowing the door to drop out of the top hinge and makes the door very easy to remove.

how much does this playpen weigh?

Each side is hollow plastics so it’s super light. Maybe 20lbs total in the box. Easy to put together and move around. It has suction cups in the bottom so your pup can’t move it around very easily.

can you add additional panels to make it longer

You can not order additional panels. They told me you have to buy another full set to make it larger. I used the previous answer to purchase this and now I'm going to have to return it because I can purchase 2 additional panels after all. Very miss leading!
