Good fit excellent quality backpack!
Perfect fit, excellent pack - really sturdy, full featured and practical. Beautifully comfortable to carry. Top quality fabrics that are just stunning. Inbuilt rain cover a great bonus. 55L is extremely practical size for me. I’m female and 5’7” with broad shoulders and the pack is such a good fit. It fits better than the Sirrus 36 did for me. I bought the L XL size. It can adjust on the harness for a bigger or smaller person. It’s probably not for a petite person in the L XL size but I’m so happy with the fit for me. Extremely comfortable and reliable backpack.

Top quality rucksack for long trails
Extremely well made rucksack. Got this in Prime week so at a discounted rate. It is so adjustable just make sure you measure your back before selecting the size - top of pelvis cradle to the C7 vertebrae. Easy access to the pockets. With the well padded shoulder supports and hip belt this makes for a very comfortable rucksack

Everyone's reviewed this so it's tips here.
This is well reviewed already so I'll give tips instead.Get help to fit it. It's fully adjustable from little gadgies to big cha is and if it's wrong it will not be fun fully laden.Start with the back length, put it on and do the waist belt and let out the padded waist supports if you need to. The pack should rest on the hips. Then cinch up everything else.If you plan on going out with a heavy load then do a couple of miles fully laden at home to see how it feels.Next is when the pack is filled don't tighten the compression straps too much since it bows the pack into you. Just very slightly nip them snug. The literature calls the bottom zip a sleeping bag compartment. Yeah you can, in fact you can get one in there and an inflatable mat and knee it in there tight and zip it up but I've managed a nortent Vern2 in it if you let the inside straps out - that way the weight is at the bottom (poles on the side pocket).Osprey go these little pocket pouch things for shoulder straps. Get one or two for this, great place for your phone and power bank, compass, keys etc and it offsets some weight from your back.

10/10
I’ve used this for a while now, it’s lasted me through rough rugged forests and not snagged, it’s been through heavy rain storms and all my gear has been dry inside, can’t recommend a brand more the osprey!

Best Hiking Bag ever 😎
Used it 4times now very happy and impressed with my Osprey Aether 55. Not the lightest hiking bag but the most comfortable with good back structural support that I have ever used. I always cover it with my third-party waterproof rain cover to protect my backpack from dirt, scratches, and from the weather that is how I look after my gears 😉. Used it for wild camping (Ben Nevis, Malham Cove, Coniston Old Man, and Angle Tarn) faultless👌 very durable, and fully adjustable I highly recommend investing in a high-quality hiking bag as my old one lets me down and gave me shoulder aches. You can tell that you have a good hiking bag when wearing Osprey, not just the brand but the high-quality materials used👍designed and engineered to keep you comfortable and away from aches even on a long period of usage.

Amazing Backpacking Pack!
I took this out on my first backpacking trip, and I was thoroughly impressed! I was really surprised on how much I was able to fit inside. Amazing design and it also came with a cover for the backpack in case it downpoured rain. Though it is waterproof for the light drizzles. Plus, I found it here on Amazon for $60 cheaper than I did see the exact same one at REI. Had tons of room, all the adjustment straps were able to make it really customizable to my size. I had zero issues and nothing but fun with this!

The bag's belt was damaged
The bag's belt was damaged. I would not recommend purchasing this unless you are prepared to deal with potential problems. There are better options that provide greater durability and quality.
