I purchased this mustard powder in a giant container to fight against the invasion of the Japanese jumping worms which is an invasive species in our section of the country (USA). Sprinkling it on the soil then very lightly watering brings them up to the surface writhing so that you can remove them. It is a disturbing sight by but it is one of the only ways to quickly get them out of your soil for proper disposal.
