Review: One cannot afford to blink! - This is be a landmark movie story for me. The tragedy and I suspect the reality of the crime could bring a just man to tears; and all too often through some drunk psycho and his mates delivering the worst in human nature on minority women. I have seen it and experienced the actions of groups like this throughout my life and it never changes. Gritty yes, reality yes, and if I could fix this I would without question or hesitation. And I remember when my youngest went abroad with a girlfriend during her teens. The fears arose, fatherly protection came into play and concerns were raised. One cannot afford to blink! Superb acting, location amazing, storyline a reality. I tip my hat. That was both moving and brilliant. Will remain with me for a long time. Review: Dramatic - Very powerful and true story, about people abuse local tribes. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 5,609 Reviews | | Format | AC-3, DTS Surround Sound, NTSC, Subtitled, Widescreen | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00031398274711 | | Language | English | | Manufacturer | LIONSGATE | | Number of discs | 1 | | Runtime | 1 hour and 47 minutes | | UPC | 031398274711 | ## Product Details - **Colour:** Colour - **Format:** AC-3, DTS Surround Sound, NTSC, Subtitled, Widescreen - **Language:** English - **Number of discs:** 1 - **Runtime:** 1 hour and 47 minutes ## Images ![Wind River - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/9192Tu9dhXL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ One cannot afford to blink! *by Z***O on 1 December 2025* This is be a landmark movie story for me. I always read reviews on Amazon and was concerned about the negative reviews of the sound. Now having seen the movie on blu ray, I fully understand them. If you are using the sound on most TVs you will find the voices mumbling and it will be frustrating. I have a brand new Panasonic 4K blu ray player. A KEF 5.1 surround system with sub woofer, with Q Acoustics floor standing speakers at the front and an old 130 watt Yamaha amplifier. Normally I would watch the average film with the sound at -30. But had to watch this at -20. A third higher than normal. This made the gunfire and surround effects quite loud, which isn't ideal but generally I could hear what they were saying. It is a shame and clearly a very poor job has been done in the sound studio by the company who released this in the UK/Europe. The film for me is good, with a decent plot and story, set in a cold, harsh landscape on an Indian Reservation. The writer/director Taylor Sheridan has written the screenplays for two excellent films in Sicario and Hell Or High Water and clearly he is a talented guy. Jeremy Renner has one of his better roles, not quite up there with The Town, where he had an oscar nomination, but the film deals with many themes, such as death, loss, lust and ultimately justice. The action scenes are impressively gritty and when the answers come it shows the talent in the writing. In summary, if you have a good sound system and like a slightly slow burning thriller, this could be for you, but if you are watching this on a TV you could feel short changed on the dialogue and a very low budget film like this is unlikely to be brought out again for an anniversary edition sadly. ## Frequently Bought Together - Wind River [Blu-ray] - Hell or High Water [4K UHD] - Sicario [Blu-ray + DVD + Digital HD] --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.sa/products/268484255-wind-river](https://www.desertcart.com.sa/products/268484255-wind-river) --- *Product available on Desertcart Saudi Arabia* *Store origin: SA* *Last updated: 2026-10-19*
