I'd love to know how they compare.** A: I like this better than sugru. Last night used a slice off a stick at least 5 years old. Worked fine. If you have a hole in the laminate this would fill it but once dry will leave you with a grey spot where the hole was. But it does dry very hard. **Q: I need to fill/reinforce some holes in wood, and then reattach a cabinet. (So, screw back into the same area.) Will this help me?** A: A better choice I'd recommend would be Gorilla Super Glue: First, check the condition of the original mounting holes and wood... if the wood is aged/rotted, or the cabinet has worked loose over a long period of time, you may need to reinforce it with more "stuffing"... in the following steps just be more generous with the amount of filling materials (the idea is to give the screws plenty of new firm material to "bite into"... while maintaining a clear pilot hole for the screw). Next, squeeze a small amount of the glue onto a toothpick (or match stick, etc... depending on screw hole size) shove this into the original screw hole and run the glue around to coat the inside of the the hole, then shove this "filler" piece in. (Break off the free end after the glue sets) Repeat this for all the old stripped/loose screw holes, and let the glue set overnight.
