Finally, the Punisher targets a human-trafficking operation that supplies kidnapped girls to brothels. Veterans of Eastern Europe's ethnic genocide, the cruel slavers are a quarry unlike any Castle has hunted before. They're ready to go to war to protect what's theirs - but they'll soon find out exactly what war with the Punisher means. Collecting PUNISHER (2004) #13-30. Review: It was great, a solid continuation of the series. - It was great, a solid continuation of the series. Highly recommend this book as it flawlessly continues the story lines from the first volume while adding more plot threads and future stories. Fantastic appearance and portrayal of Nick Fury. Once again great art, dialog, and story telling. I am certainly going to buy the whole set and if you read and enjoyed the first one, you should too. Review: Ennis/Punisher Perfect - All three stories are solid offerings from Garth Ennis. He penned pitch perfect Punisher at it's prime. Each story is 5/5 stars. It is not for the lightweight reader in content, violence or subject matter.

What A Series!
Garth Ennis proves time and again why he's one of the best comic writers of all time! His take on The Punisher is gritty, brutal, and creates a character that is unlike previous takes on him. He provides insight into the madness, and shines a light on the individual in a way that makes him more human than previously seen in comics before. The story arcs in this volume are fantastic, but not for folks with weak stomachs.

It is great to have all these stories in one place.
I loved the fact that all the stories are in a set of graphic novels (I bought 1,2, and 3). I wish they were not so expensive for each volume. Of course I will scrape to enough for the other in time. These are great books that I will reread many times.

Dark and sullen
This older, grizzled punisher is a great portrayal of the character. The violence is not over the top, but it is definitely on point with the psychotic and disturbed nature of the character.

Amazing piece of the graphic medium
If you read volume 1 then you know what to expect. Punisher Max is a flawless work of brutality. Ennis can take real world situations and push them to the absolute limit, making them shocking and incredible, where other writers take fantastic situations and make them seem dull. It is truly a gift that readers are lucky to enjoy. And once again amazingly brought to life by the stellar artists featured here.

GARTH!
Garth Ennis is the GOAT. I picked these up as a recommendation from my friend, as I asked for a comic that was dark and destructive. This is it. No language barrier or anything in this comic. Definitely my favorite series (So Far).

Perfect Punisher!! 10/10
This is Great stuff. This is what the Punisher supposed to be. Garth Ennis' Punisher embodies everything about Frank Castle and how he's supposed to be. The books are dark, gritty, and are extremely well written. Along with stunning artwork and great storylines this is the best Punisher comic ever created. Highly recommended !!! 10/10

The Other 3 story arcs are very good, somehow they follow up as a light continuation ...
As I wrote on the previous review this again is a master class in writing. The first story set in Russia is by far, the most exciting and gripping adventure I have ever read. It entails the cliches of America/Russia, all the expected faces from both sides, but somehow Ennis spin then into a more complex path. Nick Fury is part of the story and is portrait as an almost same kind of type as the Punisher, non-nonsense and focus on accomplish the mission at almost any cost, almost. Again the human side of the Punisher is what twist the story out of the expected path (even though what he does is a little expected) setting his human side against a violent confrontation with russian tanks, mongolian martial arts assassins, generals of cold war, nuclear silos and american military personal. The Other 3 story arcs are very good, somehow they follow up as a light continuation of the previous ones, but just as references. The Slavers is great run where Frank Castle is cunningly adapting his game to minimise casualities and work against a human traffickers from East Europe. Somehow the evil characters scape the stereotype of bad dudes in favour of a more layer personalities, a little bit at least. This is perhaps the best 'adventure' Graphic Novel I have ever read. Dark, Dark, Dark.

Damn fun
This collection is a lot of fun. Fast paced and full of action, any fan of The Punisher would love this. Even better then the first volume of this collection. Ennis can’t be beat!

wow.. just wow!
I got obsessed with the Punisher after watching the TV series. So I started looking for details about his story, and came across a comment saying 'The Slavers' being one of the best and yet toughest story to read. I wanted to buy a Punisher comic, but I was quite picky with the artworks. Eventually I found the MAX collection and decided to buy this second volume and.. wow! 3 amazing stories, and realized they belong to a main storyline: Mother Russia, Up is Down and Black is White, and The Slavers. Loved the narration and the artworks, plus the covers of each chapter by Tim Bradstreet are simply amazing. Now I guess I'll have to read the rest of Garth Ennis' run on the Punisher! Delivery was fine, tough I was hoping for a more robust packaging, given the flexible cover and especially the price. Slightly bruised on bottom corner, but almost imperceptible.

Punisher Max mach hier alles richtig.

First of all I got this book for only ₹700 due to some discounts, which in itself is too awesome. This run of Punisher by Ennis is the best among all i have read till date. True the story and the artwork is bit too brutal ,but that is what we expect in PUNISHER comics. If u are a Punisher fan id suggest ,you go for all the 4 comics by Ennis. Marvelous storyline and nice artwork, all studded in glossy papers ,will simply mesmerise you till the last page!! Fully recommended, have fun!!
