If you have multiple Wi-Fi and ethernet devices in your household network, you will no doubt have come across a situation where something decides to flood your network and stop everything working. Known as a broadcast storm, a device can flood the network to the point where everything stops and it can be time consuming to work out which device is storming the network and then restart it. Netgear hardware is great for the home user, very good quality and easy to manage. And this great, cheap (for what it does) switch allows you to set limits on each of it's ports to that 'if' a device does have a meltdown and start broadcasting wildly, the switch will stop it in it's tracks.
