SCIGRIP 3 is a can of liquid solvent cement. Both are excellent for Plexiglas. I used an insulin syringe from the pharmacy to apply SCIGRIP 3 since it does not come with an applicator, but Amazon does have a nice applicator available. I then 'over-weld' the joint with SCIGRIP 16. After 3 days the strength is amazing. **Q: matte medim** A: When it dries it has matte finish. **Q: How long does it take to dry (I'm adding grass particles to a diorama), and when should I put it on the grass again to seal it?** A: It takes about an hour to fully dry. **Q: Is it safe for walls?** A: What do you mean by this? It required a lot of layers to build to an uneven, natural looking surface. I kept a paper towel under the platform that caught all of the "spill over" Woodland snow product. After each application of this Cement it needs to partially dry before moving. I used a moderate amount of cement for each layer but if timed right, the "spill over could be tapped off the paper towel onto a plastic sheet and then crushed and reused as part of the next layer.
