4th Time Is a Charm! Great budget 2G phone with lots of features!
UPDATED 6/9/17 - Just a note that this phone DID work on T-Mobile's 2G network, but only sporadically. Because of that we are returning it. T-Mobile advertises that it would take any AT&T 2G customers and would keep its own 2G network up until at least 2020, however T-Mobile's advertised coverage did not match its actual coverage in our experience. The phone was fine and we would have kept it and used another carrier had we not already put a lot of money into the T-Mobile Pay-As-You-Go plan we purchased. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is the 4th phone BLU Diva Flex phone I purchased in a week, the first one was the wrong color (my fault), the second one was in delivery limbo, the 3rd one I purchased as a used item and it arrived broken, and this one which is working fine 1 hour out of the box. All the phones were lightweight and thin. My favorite colors were the blue/green and pink ones. We only got white because it shipped faster for some reason. This review shows up under both the gold and white colors since they came from the same seller (I think). Things to know: 1) This is a 2G phone! It works on T-Mobile and T-Mobile says they will keep their 2G network for at least 3 more years, not many other carriers have 2G networks, so check before you buy this. We are using this with a 10-cent per minute Pay As You Go plan. 2) Phone takes standard size SIMs (the big ones), so if you are planning to use a SIM you already have you may need to buy an adapter. 3) Phone has a camera and can take video - surprise to me Pros - Backlit keypad (appreciated by 78-year old user). - Connected to network fine using existing and active T-Mobile SIM - I only had to go into settings and tell the phone which SIM slot to use. - FM radio is pretty cool and plays over the speaker. It can also be set to play in the background so you can text or fiddle around with other phone features while you listen - Phone appears to be set to British English as it calls the flashlight setting "torch" Cons - I didn't want a white phone because I expect it to show wear and tear. The white color is matte and not pearly while the pink, green and gold phones were pearlized. - I feel a little nervous taking off the back cover since the plastic doesn't seem that sturdy, but who has to open the back cover a lot? - The charger is AC only and not convertible to charge from a USB port. I'm not actually sure what kind of connector it is, it's not mini-USB like my android, the connector is a tad bit larger - There are no external settings to adjust volume, it's all based on using the keypad and menu settings, I'm used to being able to quickly silence a phone Definitely worth it as we are using it mainly for travel so we can find each other in the resort area, at the airport, etc. - I have a smart phone for Uber, boarding passes, etc. so this basic phone is all we need.

It looks like a nice phone but if you can't hear anything ...
I purchased this phone for my mother she couldn't hear anything out of this phone. When trying to hear what I was saying on the other end of the line she said I sounded A Million Miles Away so I return this phone. It looks like a nice phone but if you can't hear anything what's the point?

Like very basic
Very very basic phone. Like very basic. I like how small it is and how cute it looks and ease of use. It can do text and calls. I've tested those and they work. But there is no email or web browser function, so it's really very very basic. Only for phone calls and text messages. It does have a calendar and media player. I couldn't get my songs to download to my micro SD card so I don't know the quality of media player yet. Once I figure it out, and listen to songs on this thing, I will update review. It is only 2G, which is OK if your mobile carrier service provides it. I heard in USA, that's rare now, but in other countries, they still use 2G, especially in rural areas. I like flip phones as it protects the keypad and screen. So it's nice that this is flip phone. One other annoying thing is that it only saves one phone number for each name. So if you have a few phone numbers for same person and want to add in addressbook, then you have to add each individual number separately for the same person. Anyway, like I said. It's basic. It's cheap. Although for a little more than that price, I was able to get a feature phone with more functions like ZTE blackberry style phone. The 2 SIM cards is interesting. It would've been great if you can use this phone for more than just basic call and text functions. But with limited functions, I don't see using this phone for more than one purpose, so no real need for dual SIM, in my humble opinion. But it could be great for older people not use to fancy gadgets and smart devices and think phones are just simply phones and used solely for communication purposes and nothing else. Then in that context, it's a good phone for them, especially with 2 SIM where they can have 1 local SIM and 1 global SIM and travel around the world in style and still be able to reach whomever by phone without costing an arm and a leg.

Easy, cheap, and great for people who are tired of apps
For that price, It works nicely. The keys are nice to use. The screen is small, but gives me all the info I need. I didn't have any expectations when I ordered this. I didn't even know if it would work here in Norway, but the signals are quite good, and the quality of the conversations are actually better than on my Samsung S6 edge. It does not have a lot of functions as we are common to these days. No internet, no apps, just phonecalls and messaging, and that gives me about a week of battery-time. It does have functions like calculator, alarm-clock, flashlight and calendar, and I've realized that's all I need.

much like one from the early 2000's
Very pleasantly surprised with the phone. We wanted a basic phone with no internet access for our kids. We had tried a basic LG phone but we couldn't get reception in the basement of our house. So far we haven't had any reception issues on the Tmobile network. Very old school phone, much like one from the early 2000's. My kids love the flashlight, the snake game, and the alarm feature. It is very slim and practically unnoticeable in their pocket. Because they are kids, the hard to adjust volume really isn't an issue. The battery life is amazing. Now the downside. Very cheap plastic. It was a pain to get the sim card and battery in. We thought we would break the back cover. The "manual" is a half sheet of very vauge instructions on inserting the sim card and that is all. No information on any settings. We couldn't find a manual online either. Does it have tons if bells and whistles? No, but we didn't want any. We just wanted a phone that could call and text for our kids that didn't cost an arm and a leg. That is exactly what we got.

Cheap but so cheap and worth it for a back up. Had it a year already.
It is a cheap phone so you can't expect much. It doesn't feel durable but we have had it over a year and it has done the job.

The dumb phone is getting dumber.
The good: Cheap, simple, works. The bad: No predictive text input, awkward profile based ringer volume control. The killer: No speed dial. Deeply Hidden speaker volume control in the menu. Updated, reducing review. After only a few weeks, I cracked the screen just by keeping it in my pocket. I believe it happened while I was getting in or out of my car. I have never before broken the screen on a flip phone. Cheap garbage, do not guy.

Bad reception
The phone doesn't get very good service. I have multiple phones on the same plan. Put this one next to a phone that has full bars and this only has one bar. Dosnet really serve its purpose when you cant send or receive calls.
