It will hold the board by the wheels but not by the trucks as designed. So it does still hold the board but not by the trucks. If I get bothered by it I will just cut the holster so it fits between the wheels to grab the trucks. **Q: What size wall anchor do you use if you don't have a stud?** A: Sorry, I gave this to my son, he installed it, my guess judge by weight of what you are hanging. **Q: Please advise: What are the dimensions, especially the width? i.e. across from side to side.
