Something wonderful. The larvae came alive and are very active. I hope we will be able to release wonderful ladybugs. Everything is as described. this year we are breeding ladybugs and butterflies. the children are delighted

Not one Larva Hatched. We even bought the "house" that goes with them. They seemed dead on arrival. One started to crawl a bit but never left the floor of the "treehouse", it died and didnt advance in the develpmental stages.

We raised these in a classroom and they did great! We ended up with 11 ladybugs. My students loved watching them molt several times before they turned into pupas and then ladybugs. Would definitely recommend these to teachers or home school families.

The larvae all arrived alive, and we had no issues getting them all to complete the cycle into lady beetles. But if you are expecting the traditional, big round, cute, 7 spotted Ladybugs you see on the pictures and that is represented in the figures of the life cycle...that is not what they are. They hatch into Pink Spotted Lady Beetles. ...which are tiny, dull and sort of creepy looking honestly. Yes if you click to expand the details at the bottom, i do see it says that...but im sure many people like us read the general description section and see the pictures, and might be a bit disappointed at the result. It was still interesting to see the life cycle tho.

I bought this for my classroom when we were looking at insects as part of a “things that grow” unit. We also got a container of ladybug larvae from a different company purchased by the school. From Insect Lore, the animals were healthy, and most of them ended up as ladybugs that were released to the wild. From the other company- several died after getting stuck in their food, some ate smaller ones and got huge, and the container ended up smelling horrible and getting fruit flies. Eventually I just threw them out. Definitely go with Insect Lore.

They arrived in a heat wave, alive and well. So far, they grew rapidly, pupated, and we anxiouslt await ladybugs.

Complete waste of money. Most larva were dead or died right away, not even 24 hours apart receiving. Very dissatisfied.
