I can turn on my AC while I'm on my way back from work, so my house is cool by the time I arrive. It's also convenient when I'm on vacation, as I can turn on the AC for a few hours each day to keep the house fresh until I return. However, the one drawback is that I have to set a schedule to automate these tasks, and I can't do that unless I'm physically at home. For my needs, I bought this specifically for remote control, so I wish there was an option to do these tasks without having to set a schedule in advance.
