L' AWUS036ACS, basato sul chipset realtek rtl8812au, si presenta come un piccolo adattatore wireless di tipo usb 2.0, è compatibile con i più comuni standard wifi 802.11ac/a/b/g/n quindi di tipo dual band (può rilevare e collegarsi a reti wireless con bande a 2.4 e 5 ghz).Ho acquistato questo adattore prettamente per scopi didattici legati al penetration testing, in questo campo infatti l'adattatore svolge egregiamente il proprio lavoro essendo, tra l'altro, pienamente compatibile con la modalità monitor.
