So get a second tank, or 80 smaller balloons **Q: can the tank be refilled** A: No it is a disposable tank. **Q: can you fill mylar balloons with this tank?** A: Yes, but I would not recommend it. Yes, in that it is *possible* to fill a mylar balloon with this, but I do not recommend it for two reasons: 1. A pressure limiting valve ensures that you will not burst the mylar, and 2. While it is possible to fill a mylar balloon, the needle type valves are better. I'd suggest getting a Western Enterprises mylar valve. **Q: How long will the balloons last? I plan to blow them up the night before for my daughter to wake up to in the morning.** A: A well sealed Mylar balloon can remain afloat several days. Latex balloons are porous to the smaller helium atoms,and will lose 50 %. In 12 hours or so.Remember, air is made of molecules. She loves penguins so I inflated a bunch of penguin balloons for her birthday bash. I filled at least 25 regular balloons, two giant number balloons for her age, and a 3 foot penguin balloon. Even with all of the balloons I filled I still have helium left over. Three weeks later the 3 foot penguin balloon is still floating! I would absolutely recommend this helium tank if you are inflating balloons for a party.
