Thanks for your interest in the Launch Control XL. The Launch Control XL will work with any DAW that can interpret MIDI input. Although it was primarily designed with Ableton Live in mind, all of the controls are fully customizable and can be mapped to any parameters in Reason: https://support.novationmusic.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360001155365-Reason-10-MIDI-mapping-for-customizing-control . As the Launch Control XL is class-compliant and does not require a driver it will work with Mac operating systems and is supported on macOS 10.8 and above.
