I bought an inexpensive (well kind of) N scale train set and it runs perfectly. It's much smaller than the HO scale, but it depicts Skarloey's size more accurately. It is so finely detailed. We're both waiting patiently for Bachmann to release Rusty to add to our small collection. Review: Looks more N scale - Skarloey looks good but really seems to be more N scale than HOn30. Love that it comes in a box instead of the blister packages that the HO scale does. Worked right out of the box. The couplers are different but I was able to get them to connect to N scale cars.
