These have been my favorite mechanical pencils for a very long time. It’s stressful to lose one because I have to make a trip to an office supply store as they aren’t generally available in a discount store. I was thrilled to find not only a multi-pack of these, but they’re in colors you don’t see in stores. Pentel makes a consistently high quality product, the pencils are durable, and the lead is strong and smooth. These are not like the cheap flimsy plastic pencils you usually see. These will last a long, long time if no one steals it on you. Highly recommended!

I have been using the Pentel mechanical pencil for more than 10 years. Very reliable and never a problem. Replacement lead of user desired hardness are readily available. The pencils provided in this multipac are HB hardness, which is good for everyday use.

These are good quality mechanical pencils. They write with a nice clear and thin pencil line. They look professional and are comfortable to hold and use. I highly recommend these pencils.

Sadly, these do "eventually" wear out, and finding replacements isn't the easiest anymore with the demise of brick and mortar office supply stores. I have been using this model mechanical pencil for at least 25 years and have yet to find a more reliable one anywhere.
