5.5'' Camera Quick Release Plate for Arca-Swiss for DJI Gimbal | for DJI RS 5 / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro / RS 3 Pro / RS 3 / RS 2 / RSC 2 & for Ronin-S

I use this on a Manfrotto N-608 video head, a Nikon Z9, and a Peak Design plate. If you have shopped around for third party Arca-swiss components you know that they aren't always compatible due to manufacturing tolerances. This one fits perfectly (well, to be honest it might be just a tad too large so it doesn't slide freely on the Manfrotto head before securing it, so you have to work it a little, but other than that it's spot on).

Very well built as always. Small note: if you are looking for a good solution to attach your Peak Design plates to your ronin, this is it. It fits both the PD Standard Plate and the PD Dual Plate. Fair warning though, the PD Standard Plate is super low-profile so the camera clearance is too low to use the DJI lens support bracket with my Sony a7S3 with a 16-35/f2.8 lens. For that reason I recommend using the PD Dual Plate to give it a little more height. Otherwise, if you don’t plan on using the lens bracket, don’t worry about it. If you do end up using the PD Dual Plate, you will need to mount the plate sideways on the camera for it to fit as the manfrotto cutouts get in the way in the front and back. It’s a little janky but it works great and is still solid! Overall, it’s a good solution to be able to keep my PD quick connect plates on while using my gimbal. Highly recommend!

Using this alongside the Canon C50’s power cage mount across my tripod and gimbal allows me to switch between them in about 20 seconds using just the arca swiss sled on this plate. Also nice to have the track if I need to balance that axis for a unique rig.

For those who mention that it doesn't fit the Ronin RS3, there is a fix. The lever that locks the plate into the gimbal can be adjusted with a T6 torx screw driver. If the plate doesn't fit at first, try adjusting the lever. That's what I did and it fit.

Fits my smallrig canon RP cage. But the cage has this anti-slip lip that prevents my camera falling off Arca Swiss Mounts. Anyways, it doesn't actually allow this plate to slide into place. I actually have to tilt the camera into place without sliding it into the plate. Not the fault of the plate, still works well with the DJI Ronin S

It's a quality product, but wasn't sure if it fit what I needed. I bought this for my DJI RSC2, to replace the baseplate and be able to use the Peak Design dual plate with the gimbal. It kinda works, but it's 90 degrees off what is necessary to make it work properly. Basically, you would have to mount the Peak Design dual plate sideways on your camera and then you'd be able to use this plate on your gimbal

I purchased a DJI RS3 recently and also use SmallRig's cage on my camera that has the Arca-Swiss base. Unfortunately despite the gimbal also using a similar base, I had to disassemble the top of the gimbal each time to slide my camera out, or be forced to use the DJI plate which would add significant height to my camera's mounting point. THIS QR plate however allows me to have it remain fixed to my gimbal while being able to easily take my camera in and out of it quickly with minimal to no balancing again since I'm just mounting the same camera/lens back onto it. What a time saver! Plus the quality of this part feels very solid. Would definitely recommend this item for others.

Exactly what I needed. Fits a PeakDesign plate and many more Arca Swiss. Similar if not same built quality as the original from DJI.

Great product

Works perfectly with DJI Ronin SC-2. I slid my old lower plate off and slid this new arca swiss lower plate on within seconds. It works perfect. I was annoyed I received a used/open box one though I paid for a new one. No harm this time though since it's metal and there were no scuffs or scratches on it.

It works on the RS3 pro with my camera's arca baseplate. Knob is ok. I do wish there was some kind of ruler marking on top of the rear clamp to help with camera alignment, I can sharpie something on I suppose... Expensive for what it is but not a lot of other options and it does what it's supposed to do.
