I am looking to buy a christmas gift for someone that does a lot of night time hog hunting. Will this work? I am clueless

It is small, making it portable and easy to access as opposed to a pair of night vision binoculars, and a lot of people find the black and white display easier on the eyes as well. Is it at all water resistant?

No. Unfortunately, the MiniAura Digital Night Vision is not water resistant.

Is this device subject to itar regulations? in other words can i take it with me if i travel overseas?

I believe all night vision is subject to ITAR

If a person can only see out of one eye, will this device work?

It has a single eyepiece, so it should work fine. There is no magnification, it's a simple 1 to 1.
