Review: Unexpected Brilliance - This stuff saved my bacon. I had removed my bumper to put a new grill and emblems on it, and of course, scuffed the top of the bumper in the process. It was deep, just on the clear coat, but it was annoying to me. Looked like a water spot or something was on my bumper. I ordered this, got it within a few days, and took my trusty microfiber towel and got to work. I dabbed a bit of the polish on my cloth, and worked in small circular motions for a bit. Maybe 15-30 seconds. I wiped it off with a clean side of the cloth and BAM. Beautiful, scratch and scuff free paint work. I was so amazed. I had used like MAYBE a dime sized amount of this polish. Pros: Smells great Works great Easy to apply and remove Cons: A Tad Pricey @ $34 Review: Great stuff - Great stuff. And smells better ## Features - Eliminates moderate to heavy paint defects and imperfections - Powder free and dust free - Equally effective on ceramic finishes and clear coats ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00BQA3VD6 | | Brand | Chemical Guys | | Brand Name | Chemical Guys | | Compatible Material | Ceramic | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 745 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00816276011653 | | Grit Material Type | Ceramic | | Grit Number | 2000 | | Grit Type | Fine | | Grit material | Ceramic | | Grit type | Fine | | Item Dimensions | 19.8 x 7.4 x 5.3 centimeters | | Item Highlight | Optical-grade cutting polish levels swirls, scratches and defects, then refines toward a deep, glossy finish | | Item Weight | 16 Ounces | | Item dimensions L x W x H | 19.8 x 7.4 x 5.3 centimeters | | Item weight | 16 Ounces | | Manufacturer | Chemical Guys | | Material | Ceramic | | Material Type | Ceramic | | Model | GAP_V36_16SW | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Part Number | GAP_V36_16SW | | Set Name | False | | UPC | 816276011653 | | Unit Count | 16 Grams | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Chemical Guys - **Grit material:** Ceramic - **Grit type:** Fine - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 19.8 x 7.4 x 5.3 centimeters - **Material:** Ceramic ## Images ![V36 Optical Grade Cutting Polish - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61BAtIjSDqL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Unexpected Brilliance *by S***S on 12 April 2017* This stuff saved my bacon. And smells better ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Window Repair Success *by M***R on 24 March 2026* Used the optical grade V 36 on my windows to remove water spots etched into the glass, stains in the window that I could not clean, and scratches. Bought the car used and the windows were a disaster. Followed the chemical guys video and got their Torqx polisher and orange pad. This worked perfectly and was easy for a beginner to complete the job on all windows ## Frequently Bought Together - Chemical Guys GAP_V36_16 V36 Optical Grade Cutting Polish (16 oz) , White - Chemical Guys GAP_V38_16 V38 Optical Grade Final Polish (16 oz) - Chemical Guys Gap_V32_16 V32 Optical Grade Extreme Compound (16 oz) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.sa/products/253519473-v36-optical-grade-cutting-polish](https://www.desertcart.com.sa/products/253519473-v36-optical-grade-cutting-polish) --- *Product available on Desertcart Saudi Arabia* *Store origin: SA* *Last updated: 2026-10-16*
