I use the medium tint in winter and the medium/deep in summer when I have a tan or when I want to give myself the appearance of a bit of a tan. When in doubt, I would suggest going slightly darker than slightly lighter. Also, give the BB Cream a few minutes to "set" before you judge what it's doing -- it always looks amazing from about 5 minutes after I apply it through the rest of the day, regardless of what I think while I'm applying it. (BTW, I'm an olive-y skinned white person.) **Q: What's the difference between bb and cc?** A: CC cream typically has more coverage,and is better for oily skin,BB cream is a tinted moisturizer with light coverage that's more hydrating for dry skin! **Q: does the light one have a warm tone?** A: I am cool tone and have used the light shade for years. it looks a bit warm at first but in a few minutes it looks neutral. I have very light skin. It looks very natural and is buildable. A little bit smaller than expected (but to be fair I didn’t pay much attention to size when choosing this BB cream). I like the coverage and it really is hydrating- no flakiness without looking oily (what I experienced with other brands). It lasts me a full day at the office, but by the time I get home there is no real need for make-up remover as the tint and coverage is all but gone- but I can’t say this is exclusive to this BB cream as I have faced the same with other foundations and creams (perhaps best paired with a primer then?)
