**Q: What is the diameter of the top of the shaft where the top plate goes on?  Mine is 1 1/2 inches in diameter**
A: The ram tip that inserts into the saddle plate receiver is 1-1/4” (32mm).

**Q: does this raise the hoist on both down and upstroke?**
A: No.  Only the downstroke.

**Q: Will this long ram jack operate properly when fixed in a horizontal position?**
A: Would think if you have good supply of hydraulic Jack oil in it that work ok.

**Q: what is the dia. of the top pin hole**
A: 5/8”.
