MADE IN CHINA!!
Was very disappointed to find that this product is made in China, if you buy German for quality and longevity then you expect it to be made in Germany. Considering sending it back on the strength of that. The give away is the cobbled together instructions along with "Made in China" in small print on the end of the box.

Amazing value day to day sharpener that is safe and easy to use.
Amazing sharpener that is safe and easy to use, I'll never buy another one! Of course you can do better with a whetstone or such but for day to day this ideal.

Cutting Edge Tech
Thank you, Wùsthof, a knife sharpener that works! I had two paring knives that were blunt with the edges crinkled. After using the sharpener several times, the crinkerly edges were gone and the blade was again super sharp (like new) again!

Top price is not a guide
Did not work as well as I hoped. Varied effect on knives. Perhaps it has more to do with knife quality but some left slightly jaggered edges. Yes an improvement on some, but I expected better because I went with an expensive choice.

Terrible
Blunts knives and makes them less sharp than before. I pulled it through course around 100 times and 20 on the fine and it still couldn't cut a tomato. This is a new knife.

Without a doubt the best set of knives I have ever owned. Razor sharp and stay so with occasional light honing once in a while. Professional stuff and an investment for life. I bought a knife set like that as a gift for my brother 6 years ago and they still are as good as new after heavy use those years.

Great product!
Love this knife sharpener. I honestly did not expect it to do much as my knives are -were- quite dull but my brother in law said he was very happy with his so i gave it a shot. So easy to use, safe to use too. My knives are not professional-knife-sharpener sharp but they cut alot better than they did. I totally recommend this product.
